I was playing my PS4 two days ago and and then packed information technology up with two controllers that were both connected to this PS4.

I got to where I was going, set everything upwardly and now the controllers won't connect. They evidence pulsing orange when they plug in, just when I hit the PS Button to connect, information technology blinks white 1-two times and goes back to orange.

I have tried resetting them both.

Can anyone help?

If you were transporting your PS4 with the controllers even so connected, information technology's possible that the USB cables were damaged. I've had this problem a couple of times in the last twelvemonth, and the following steps stock-still my problem each time. I tried resetting controllers, PS4 database, and all the usual steps people advise in this thread and others.

  • If possible, utilize vox or another controller to plough on the PS4, and ability information technology downwardly completely (non residue mode)
  • Unplug PS4 for two-three minutes
  • Plug PS4 back in
  • Attempt to plow on using the controller that wouldn't connect. It should now work fine

If you have another controller go in devices > bluetooth and delete all controllers except on with dark-green dot by information technology and and so press ps push button and share push button on controller that won't connect information technology will show up in bluetooth devices

I had this same problem. My all-time possible respond is shutting downwardly your game and pulling out the ability cord from the ps4 and give information technology a about a half of an hr. The same thing happened to me. Simply plow off your PS4, connect your controller, and and then try and turn on the PS4 with the controller later information technology lights up orange.

Pressing and holding the PS Home button and share button did information technology for me. While I had the organization in rest manner and charge cablevision continued. This was because I had to plough the organisation on manually and without communication between the pair the system fell asleep Even subsequently pushing the reset button backside the controller. Then sure enough, they found a connexion and the system ran an update.
